archTIS inks new contract to modernise Australias Department of Defence

archTIS Ltd (ASX:AR9) CEO Daniel Lai joins Proactive to outline a A$4.06 million contract with the Australian Department of Defence.
Under the contract, AR9 will draw up a proof of concept that outlines how the department can improve productivity, security and regulatory compliance.
Lai says the initiative will leverage archTISs NC Protect product and third party software to modernise the department's office.
We believe that NC Protect can contribute to the way the department works on and secures information in a modern workplace environment, he explained to the market on Thursday.
The need to increase productivity, security and speed across defence has been identified in the newly released Defence Strategic Review this initiative is a small but important part of that cultural change.
The proof of concept project is slated for completion by the end of this year.
