Katy Severe is an Airbnb Superhost living in Des Moines, Iowa with her husband and two young kids. In the fall of 2019 they bought their dream home, complete with a 'mother-in-law' unit in the basement. Following the pandemic, Katy and her husband decided to list their basement suite on Airbnb.
